More About This Wine

Its initial red color has evolved to take on tawny shades under the action of light. Its “rancio” taste of nuts, brown butter and dried fruits, is obtained thanks to a gentle oxidation and the magic of time.

Hows it's made

Natural sweet wine, from a saigné of Granache, fortified. Aged for nearly ten years in glass jars under the “tiled” roof of the granary of the domain to provide a slow oxidation and evolution towards complex aromatics.
