More About This Wine
Rich toasted almonds, ripe red apple, white peach, vanilla and a great deal of yeasty notes hit you on the nose. You know you are in for great complexity in the palate. This vintage was a classic Champagne year, it has a complex mix of both freshness and richness, with those ripe apples and toasted almonds returning on the palate. Generously textured, precise and elegant, with a long and powerful mineral finish. One for a special occasion.
Hows it's made
Harvested by hand, sorted directly at the vine, only the ripest and healthiest grapes are pressed. Vinification in tank and in barrel (43%). With a dosage of only 4g/L this is considered a Brut Nature, low sulphur.Pinot Noir from the Buxeuil limestone terroir, and Chardonnay grown on chalk in Montgueux. Disgorged 01/2018 as per engraving on the bottle. Only 5,821 bottles (0.75L), and 142 magnums (1.5L) were produced.
