More About This Wine
Another delicious wine from talented young winemaker Costanza Migliosi, a rising star of natural wine in Umbria.
Brilliant straw yellow colour. On the nose: fragrant orchard fruits and white flowers, slightly herbaceous. The palate is fresh, persistent and refined, with a great mineral finish.
Serve at 8°/10 °C.
Hows it's made
Costanza’s grechetto come from her vineyards of Ponterosso, in the municipality of Assisi.
Here the vines grow on clay and limestone, at 218/240 of altitude. Harvested manually like all of her wines.
After delicate destemming, the grapes are softly pressed. Cold fermentation at 10/20 ºC in steel.
Matured in steel tanks for 5 months and aged on fine lees of Sauvignon blanc for two months.
