More About This Wine
Ruby red with light purple reflections. Intense nose, with fragrant notes of violets, raspberries, blueberries and plump summer cherries; on the palate it has an excellent drinkability with mild and supple tannins followed by a long, spicy finish. A wine for a slow cooked beef or duck ragú or a rare Fiorentina steak, of course. Serve at 16-18℃.
Hows it's made
90% Sangiovese grosso from Lamole, 10% Canaiolo old vineyards cultivated at 550m. The harvest starts in mid-October and is entirely manual. Aged partly in cement and partly in tonneaux of 500L of French oak.
