More About This Wine

The purple reflections in the rim of the glass are a clear anticipation of the cassis you will find on the nose. There things are made interesting by the spices, and a sexy note of smoke. The mouth is round, generous, malleable, with plenty of ripe black fruits and considerable, though very well integrated tannins. You have a generous, convivial wine here, bursting with black cherry and cassis notes. A charcuterie board is advisable.

Hows it's made

The yields are low, typically around 40hl/ha and the harvesting is done by hand. The fermentation is done in fiberglass tanks and the wine ages “sur lies” for six months. The wine is lightly filtered before bottling.
