About Domaine
Duseigneur

Located in the very heart of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine Duseigneur extends over some 30ha of vines aged between 50-130 years old. Bernard Duseigneur, heir to a family of winegrowers for five generations and Philippe Faure-Brac, best sommelier in the world in 1992, have been jointly managing the estate for about ten years. Biodynamic cultivation (the estate is a member of Biodyvin) allows the great terroirs of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac and Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun appellations to be fully expressed.

There is a wide variety of soils in Châteauneuf-du-Pape: red clays, limestone pebbles, sandstone sands of marine origin or deeper loams from the banks of the Rhône. Each type of soil produces grapes with different characteristics, thus contributing to the extraordinary complexity of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.
