Delivery & Returns Policy


Most orders are received within 24-48hrs, though this will take longer if you are located far from our bonded warehouse in Cambridge – up to 4 days max.

If your order is received before 12pm Mon-Thurs, excluding Bank Hols it will be processed on the same day, though as we are a small team this can sometimes take a little bit longer.

Orders received after 12pm are processed the next working day.

The cut off for weekend delivery is midday on Thursday as last deliveries from the warehouse are on Friday: our partners there don’t work weekends or Bank Hols (lucky them!). Any orders after that will be attended to first thing on Monday. 



All orders over £100 have free delivery, otherwise a flat rate of £18 (inc VAT) is added to your order.

If you’re lucky enough to look under 18 you may be asked for proof of age by the delivery driver. 



La Mad imports wine of unique character and personality; these can sometimes taste surprising and unexpected, which we think is a good thing! However if you think there’s something actually wrong with your wine we will of course send you a free replacement including all delivery costs.

If a replacement isn’t available or requested, a refund or credit note can be issued.

As a young business, understanding our customer’s opinions and needs is paramount so we would really appreciate the opportunity to hear what you didn’t enjoy.

We may also ask to look at your faulty wine, so please hold onto them. For all returns please email

Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of receiving them for a full refund including delivery and collection charge (unless outside mainland UK – the delivery/return charges, that is). When returned, the items must be in perfect, unopened condition.
